Compare to 1 month.Teegan is two months old! Wow, these past two months have flown by...I guess that happens with two little boys in the house! So far our littler dude has been pretty mellow and is generally pretty content except for the usual baby things. If he is fed, dry, and well rested, he is happy. Grayson has been better with his baby brother than I ever expected. He doesn't seem jealous at all. In fact, he looks for him when entering the room and he will go to Teegan's play mat and say "Kee-an, up" (which means he wants TEEGAN DOWN on the floor with him"). When we put Grayson in his crib, lately he cries a little and calls for us..."Dada, Mama, Kee-an". Oh man, that makes my heart melt.
Teegan has been sleeping well at night in his bassinet, which is connected to our bed. He will sleep 3-4 hour stretches (so much better than Grayson did at that age!!), and gets more restless at 5-6am. He is nursing well, and gaining weight like a champ. He went from 25th percentile to 75th percentile at his appointment last week. We have been giving him bottles and he is getting the hang of that too.
Teegan is recognizing and focusing on faces, smiling, and cooing. I think he's pretty delicious...but then again, I'm biased.
I return to work on Thanksgiving, and Grayson's original babysitter is still with us, and will be caring for both boys. We are lucky to have her...she is very attached to Grayson and already loves Teegan.
