My First Christmas

I have been so busy learning to walk, talk, and getting into mischief that I forgot to keep everyone posted on my blog.

I loved my first Christmas!! Well, I didn't really understand what all the fuss was about, actually, but Mama & Dada seemed to have fun. They woke me up and told me to open all these square shaped things with the shiny paper. I'm not sure why. So Dada did it for me while I watched.















Well, I guess that was fun. But now I will go and check out the garbage.



On Christmas I had my first meal that was 100% table food (no baby food). I am growing up, the old folks say.

I have been such a blogging slacker this month!! It is not because the month has been uneventful, I promise you. Grayson is becoming more of a boy every day....bittersweet!! I will miss my little chubby baby boy but am thrilled to see him growing into a funny little man. He really is a smart and silly guy with a great sense of humor. How can one little person have so much personality?!

He is still sleeping great, if he does wake during the night, it is (usually) only once and goes back to sleep quickly. He is napping well, and eating more and more baby food. He has also started to eat more table food. Check out his You Tube channel to see him eating bananas, peas, and more!!

Grayson is a pro at pulling himself to standing, cruises along the furniture constantly, and can momentarily (for a few seconds) stand independently. Maybe he'll be walking by the time his birthday rolls around!





We just returned from a visit to Michigan, which I will have to post about soon. It was nice to spend some time with my family!! Grayson was a little angel most of the time. He was pretty mellow when we went out to eat and was fairly well behaved on the plane rides (aside from not wanting to stay seated).





His tooth is becoming more visible and the other bottom one also broke.



While we were in Michigan, Grayson got his first haircut!! I was hesitant about that for a while because I knew he'd look like a boy instead of a baby. It REALLY had to happen though!! He was very well behaved during the haircut (also on You Tube), and the cut looks very cute on him. What a little man, though.

Oh, Grayson also had his first kiss while in Michigan!! :)

I guess he isn't a fan of public displays of affection.

Wow what a busy little man we have on our hands now! Grayson is getting everywhere...I always tell him how nosy he is!! He continues to crawl, and is now pulling himself to stand frequently.

now how do I get down?!


He hasn't started cruising around the furniture yet, but I'm sure it won't be long!

Grayson is so interactive...he claps his hands when we sing, or when he thinks he has done a good job while playing. He also gives kisses, which has to be the cutest thing in the world...I make a kissy face or asks for kisses and he puts his open mouth to my face. Uhhhhhh, I melt!

This month we went to watch the marathon,


and had a fun visit from Grammy!

Grayson waved bye-bye for the first time when my mom was leaving!! What a big guy!

He also has a tooth.....FINALLY!! You can't see it very well, but it is there. It is the left bottom tooth (his left).
