Since I knew about the snowstorm that was expected for Saturday, I knew we wouldn't be able to go to the Pumpkin Festival in Central Park. I wanted a reason to dress him up in his costume, so on Friday I took him to the Halloween Party thrown by the Child Life department at my hospital. It was his nap time so we didn't stay long at all, but it was fun to show him to my coworkers.

Grayson had his 9 month check-up today. He weighs 20 pounds & 4 ounces, and is 28.5 inches long. All is well!!

nine months old
Compare to 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, 4 months, 5 months,
6 months, 7 months, 8 months.
Grayson has had a BUSY month!!
He started off the month by getting to his hands & knees,
then started doing yoga poses,
then started the worm crawl,
and now Grayson is actually crawling!!
He can also go to a sitting position independently, which is another big milestone.
He continues to feed himself cheerios like a pro, and would eat them exclusively if we let him. We started introducing him to little pieces of food (peas and carrots), but he isn't interested yet. He is still eating pureed baby food pretty well.
He has been consistently sleeping through the night (WAHOOOO!!), and only occasionally wakes up in the early morning for a snack before going back to sleep. This has been a huge change for me!!
We had a weekend visit from my friend Bri and her baby Gavin. These boys are best buds already. :)
We have been going to music class every week, which Grayson loves. Check out Grayson's latest videos to see what a big boy he is!!
Grayson has a doctor's appointment tomorrow, so I will update the blog then with his latest stats.

curious little monkey
central park with mama
Mama bought a new baby carrier, and she can't stop talking about it!! The good part is now she takes me everywhere and doesn't complain about having to use the stroller.
Today we went to the park and I tried to eat grass and twigs off the ground. Mama said no. Notice my new knit hat that my Grammy made for me!
